Space comes alive in this concert showcasing British composer Gustav Holst’s
The Planets. Enormously popular, The Planets marries the mystic with the melodic
and presents a fascinating musical portrait of each planet. Accompanying video
images bring the heavens to life and add to the magic of this brilliantly scored
event. Works from Mozart and contemporary composer Aaron Jay Kernis round
out the program.
