There are many ways to support the Southwest Florida Symphony!

Did you know it takes much more than ticket sales to bring orchestral music to Southwest Florida each year? Ticket sales cover only 40% of the Symphony’s annual expenses. The remaining 60% is provided by charitable contributions from friends like you, businesses, foundations and grants.

Did you know it can cost up to $80,000 to produce a classical concert? Did you know the Symphony commits $100,000 each year to education and community outreach programs? Did you know Symphony educational programs reach 25,000 students each year? These are just some of the ways your gift impacts the Southwest Florida Symphony and your community.

There are many ways to make a gift to the Southwest Florida Symphony and each gift option has potential tax benefits to the donor who itemizes his or her deductions. Under the new tax laws, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution up to $100,000 ($200,000 for couples) from your IRA if you are over 70½ years old. Please review the options on our site and donate today. Discover the various ways you truly can make a difference. CONDUCTOR’S CIRCLE CLUB

The Conductor’s Circle Club is a membership-based organization of patrons who love great music and share the common goal of playing an important role in the symphony’s success.  Founded in 1999, the club is a prestigious members only club for the Southwest Florida Symphony’s major donors who make an Annual Fund gift at the Conductor’s Circle level.

Members of the Conductor’s Circle Club have the opportunity to mingle with symphony supporters in an intimate private lounge at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall at FSW. Complimentary refreshments and beverages are served pre and post-concerts and at intermission.  After the performance, members are afforded the opportunity to meet the conductor and guest artists.  Members also receive mention in the symphony’s program book as Conductor’s Circle Club level donors and a reserved parking pass for concerts at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall at FSW.

CHAIR SPONSORSHIP

Sponsorships: $2,000-$11,500

*(Sponsorships of $7,500+ include Conductor’s Circle Club membership.)

Patrons can also demonstrate support for the music we create through sponsoring a particular musician’s chair in the orchestra. Chair sponsors are invited to attend an annual benefit/thank you party and to attend a designated dress rehearsal during our concert season and to have their names listed under the names of the musicians they sponsor in the symphony program book. The most rewarding benefit is that chair sponsors are given opportunities to interact with the musicians they sponsor. Many of the symphony’s chair sponsors form meaningful, lifelong friendships with our musicians; a benefit that has proven priceless for all involved.
